The featured image was taken on the rooftop of the Lok Wah South Estate Garage. The blue bars run along the top of a circular structure (you’ll know what I mean once you’re on the roof top). You’ll have to help your model get up on the bars — and be careful!
Upon arriving at the garage you can make your way to the rooftop.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Mid-day
All months of the year are suitable to photograph from this rooftop.
Try to visit mid-day on a sunny day. The strong sunlight makes for great combinations of the light and shadow. It’ll be very hot so there shouldn’t be many people there, despite it being a famous spot!
Field tips
Be careful when trying to lift your model atop the blue bars.
By using a wide-angle lens (30mm) you'll be able to emphasize the length of the blue bars. It’ll also be helpful if you’re photographing the circular structure.
There are lots of great perspectives to capture here with the bars and circular shapes. Take your time in finding your own creative take!
