Aston Chicago Apartments Rooftop view of Tribune Tower, Willis Tower & Downtown

avatar

This sick rooftop has more than just views — it also offers a pool and other amenities for the residents. If you're here in the summer, the rooftop will be going off, so be prepared to have some people in your shot. Still, it's one of the best views of downtown Chicago — especially at night.

This image of the Tribune Tower, Willis Tower & downtown skyline was taken from the Aston Chicago Apartments rooftop. To get into the apartment, enter off of E Illinois St and then walk past the receptionist. If the receptionist is there, politely ask if you're able to go to the roof for a photo. Take the elevator up to the rooftop and then turn left out of the elevator. From there, you'll see the rooftop and pool. Walk through the hall and go right. As you reference the GPS coordinates to the southwest corner of the rooftop, this view of the city will be directly ahead of you. Address: Aston Chicago Apartments, 200 E Illinois St, Chicago, IL 60611
