Nicely framed by the Gothic townhouses, this green oasis in Cobble Hill is one-of-a-kind with its lush foliage during spring, summer and fall.

The unique garden on Warren Place is part of a beautiful residential neighborhood in Cobble Hill. I stood outside the fence to photograph this image. By Subway: - Closest Station: Bergen Street (F, G Train) - Head northwest on Warren St toward Court St - Turn right onto Court St - Turn left onto Warren St and the garden will be on your left

Tips

When to go

Best season

May, June, July, August, September, October, November

Best time

Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The tree and surrounding plants are what makes this spot so unique. To capture the vibrant color of the lush greenery, it’s best to visit this garden during spring, summer and fall months.
As long as there’s good natural light, this oasis is beautiful to capture during morning through late-afternoon.

Field tips

To create a sense of symmetry, try centering the trees and plants in the middle of your shot. The garden will be nicely framed by the historic brownstones.
Use the buildings as leading lines to guide the enter to the center of the photograph to create a more appealing image.
The other end of the garden is also stunning — it has a three-tier fountain. Check it out after you photograph from this angle.
