I would say that late October and early November are the best months to capture the vibrant fall foliage in the park. I took the photo in November when the leaves had turned a beautiful hue of yellow, orange and red colors. Summer and spring are also great to catch the garden brimming with lush greenery.

Visit when it's daylight, preferably in the late-afternoon when the blue sky and bright leaves create perfect contrasting colors. If you photograph too late, the low light could dampen the pop of the autumnal hues against the dark evening sky.

A wide-angle lens (24mm) allowed me to capture a large view of the park, as well as the intricate designs of the pathways.

The peak fall colors in New York only last a week or two, so keep this in mind when you travel. If your schedule is flexible, wait until you know the leaves have changed before making your trip.

When editing the photo, enhance the orange and yellow colors to help showcase the real-life vibrancy of the park.
