This image is of the Buddha Tooth Relic & Temple, right after you step inside the main entrance. You can either drive, take a taxi or ride the MRT to get there.
By MRT:
- Closest station: Chinatown (North East Line or Downtown Line)
- Take exit A
- Head southeast on Pagoda St toward Trengganu St
- Turn right onto Trengganu St
- Trengganu St veers left and becomes Sago St and the destination will be on your right

Sunset
For a reflection shot, you can visit the Buddha Tooth and Relic Temple and Museum any month on a day when it's raining. I recommend visiting from June to September, since these are the rainiest months in Singapore.
Though this spot is stunning anytime of day, I chose to capture it during sunset when the soft life contrasted against the vibrant color of the temple, giving off a dark reflection.
For minimum disturbance from people, visit around 3pm during the week.
Field tips
To incorporate your model, the temple and the reflection try using a wide-angle lens. For this photo, I used a 16mm lens.
Having your model hold an umbrella adds another element to your photo. You can also experiment and use another prop — get creative!
Get low so you have a different perspective of the shot. The temple will appear larger and your model can be used for scale from this angle.
