Supertree Grove & OCBC Skyway

This image was taken below the Supertree Grove with a view of the OCBC Skyway, which is in Gardens of the Bay. To get to this location, I recommend taking public transportation. Once you're there, head to the northeast side of the grove and then look up toward the trees and walkway. Reference the GPS coordinates and you'll find the exact spot where I stood to get this shot. During any month of the year, you'll be able to find similar conditions at the Supertree Grove.

Try and tilt the camera up and to the side slightly so you can get the entire view of the first tree and walkway into your frame.

The scene is massive and even a super-wide lens makes it difficult to capture everything in the frame. Make sure you shoot with at least a 12mm focal length.

Notice how the skyway crosses through the center of my image, giving it a balance feel. Get creative on how you choose to have the skyway cross your image.

I recommend staying for both of the nightly light shows so you can have more than one opportunity to shoot the colorful LED lights.

While you're in Gardens of the Bay, explore the other attractions, like Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Both places have endless amounts of opportunities.

Head to Satay by the Bay if you're hungry. This food court has different stalls where you can choose from a variety of cuisines.

Walk west toward Marina Bay Sands to see the infamous high-end hotel near the water. To get there, you'll walk over Dragonfly Bridge, which is an excellent pedestrian pathway.
