Discovery Bay has become known as a relaxing hideaway from the hustle and bustle of city life and from a look-down viewpoint, it's easy to see why. The residential homes weaving through the emerald landscape are met with the calm serenity of the piercing-blue waters — as beautiful in person as it is in a picture.

This drone image of the Seabee Lane Peninsula and Discovery Bay was taken from Discovery Beach Playground. To get to Discovery Bay, you must catch a ferry that takes about 30-45 mins from Central Pier 3 on Hong Kong Island.
After the ferry, you'll need to follow the beach on your right hand side until you get to Discovery Bay Beach Playground. Launch the drone from here and you'll have a clear line of sight over the peninsula and Discovery Bay.

Field tips
Before flying your drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements.
Sunshine will really bring out the colours of the water and buildings, so make sure to monitor the weather beforehand.
I recommend using the width of the drone camera to capture the length of the headland going into the bay. You'll need to fly high for this — approximately 400-500m.
It might be worth stitching together multiple shots as a panorama to increase your field of view and get a wider shot.
