Pearl Island Look Down from Golden Dolphin Square

The featured image is a look down on Pearl Island. I launched my drone from the tip of Golden Beach at the concrete pavilion called Golden Dolphin Square (reference the GPS coordinate). Pearl Island is just south of the platform where I stood. By Bus: - Bus number: N962 Tuen Mun - Exit at Golden Beach - Walk along Castle Peak Road - Turn to Golden Beach Path - Follow the path to the concrete pavilion - Walk along until you reach Golden Dolphin Square

All months of the year are suitable to photograph Pearl Island.

I recommend visiting around mid-day when the light is harsher so the shadows casted by Pearl Island’s buildings will be smaller.

Be mindful of the winds and how close you fly above Pearl Island’s buildings.

Experiment with different angles when composing the island. I chose a look down perspective but a level view is also nice!

Enjoy Golden Dolphin Square! You’ll find sculptures of three gold dolphins representing peace, freedom and happiness.

Golden Beach offers incredible views so be sure to take a stroll!
