When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon, Sunset, Night
Since this classroom at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is fully indoors without any windows, it's suitable for photography during any month of the year.
As long as the lecture hall isn't in use, you can photograph this classroom morning, noon or night.
I recommend visiting when classes aren't in session, like on the weekends or early in the morning, in order to ensure an empty room.
Field tips
Remember to be courteous and polite since you're a guest on the public university's campus. The Jockey Club Inspiration Tower is completely open to foreign visitors, but it's important to be aware of your surroundings and not to disturb any students or faculty members who might be working.
I suggest using a tripod when framing your shot will ensure a clean focus.
Play with the angle of the photo and try using the chairs and ceiling to create leading lines that go from the background to the foreground.
Explore the rest of the building and experiment with varying photo opportunities. The contemporary design is truly amazing and there are incredible places to photograph throughout the tower.

Hong Kong is one of the most diverse and photogenic cities in the world! Kowloon is an especially beautiful district and it's often considered a grittier, more authentic area of Hong Kong; however, it also contains unspoiled countrysides and amazing cultural spots, like the museums in Tsim Sha Tsui.
