So much of New York is saturated with the same photo perspective. To see a new side of the city, try photographing from different angles and locations! In this image, I captured a unique view of the pedestrian and car commuters as they make their way from Brooklyn to Manhattan on this iconic bridge.

I stood on top of a small hill alongside the Brooklyn Bridge in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn. First, make your way to the corner of Prospect St and Washington St. From there, you'll want to hike up the short hill towards the highway and from the top of the hill you'll get a great shot of the bridge with the city in the background. Reference the GPS coordinate.
By Subway:
- Closest Station: High Street - Brooklyn Bridge (A or C Train)
- Head north on Cadman Plaza W toward Middagh St
- Turn right onto Prospect St
