Resembling a Piet Mondrian painting, this strikingly colorful building façade can be found right in the heartlands of Singapore.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
All months of the year are suitable to photograph the Block 3 HDB Teck Whye apartments.
Personally, I like to visit this location in the late-afternoon when there is plenty of sunlight, but you can find similar conditions any time of the day.
Field tips
I recommend using a 16mm-35mm lens so you can frame most of the apartment without having to compromise any details when cropping.
If you bring along a model, I suggest positioning them to stand at the ground floor, walking away from the block. I always like to include a person in my architectural shots to give a human element to the photo.
To show the blocks have a similar color scheme, try including the apartment block behind Block 3 that has the same façade.
