Escalator at South Canteen, Republic Polytechnic

All months are suitable to photograph around the escalator.

You’ll want to visit during the day as the escalator has no lights. It will be very dark to photograph at night.

Be mindful and do not disturb people using the escalator.

By using a wide-angle lens (15mm) you’ll be able to capture the escalator’s length.

Experiment with different angles and the use of leading lines from the escalator and surrounding architecture. I used the lines to draw the viewer’s attention to my model.
